Christmas Cookie Exchange - Please Help!

I'd like to introduce you to my Grandson, Landon.  He's 3 and has an incredible sense of humor.  Every year his amazing Family Daycare Provider has a Christmas Cookie Exchange for all of the families.  Grandparents are included.  (I said she was amazing!)

My dilemma - I live 10 hours away.  Determined to be active in Landon's life - I send my part of the party to my daughter (yep, Landon's mom).  Last year was my 1st year to participate.  I found a recipe on www.about.com that worked well.  Here's Ginger's blog write-up about my contribution last year (with the recipe).

So I think you get the idea.  My contribution has to look good, taste good and travel well.

I'd love some suggestions.  Thanks for visiting & especially for any help you can give me!  Reia

I am the worst when it comes to baking. Wish I had some ideas for you but I am more of a stocking stuffer type expert. :) So glad you enjoyed the post! Katie http://lifeinthesimpleln.blogspot.com

I really did enjoy your post! I printed out your list & plan to carry it with me because you ARE a stocking stuffer expert!

I don't have the time to bake, etc. anymore but I'm determined to send something. Mainly there will be a lot of love in the box. :-) Reia
