Calling all Glycerin users - Please Help!

I love home remedies!  My daughter, Traci, told me that she uses Glycerin for her skin.  She dilutes it with water (1 part water, 1 part Glycerin) and there you have it.

Okay - I bought a bottle of Glycerin.  I read the directions - dilute with water, etc. just like Traci told me.  But surely there's more that can be done with this magic bottle of clear liquid?

I visited the website on the bottle.  http://www.simplehomeremedies.com but didn't really find any help so... I'd appreciate any ideas you have to offer!  Just call me "Glycerin Challenged".
