"Great is Thy Faithfulness" - a song that resonates with me - every day. Through all of the ups and downs of my life, God has always been faithful to me and mine.
I looked up the word "resonate" since it came to mind when I started writing. One definition is "to have particular meaning or importance for someone: to affect or appeal to someone in a personal or emotional way".
Yep - "resonate" is the right word. No matter what - the words of this song always ring true to me.
Some of the words that touch me the most are:
- All I have needed Thy hands hath provided— “Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!
- Morning by morning new mercies I see;
- Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not - As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
- Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow...
Some of you know my whole story, some of you see my life today - no matter what - my story has this theme running through it - "Great Is Thy Faithfulness - Lord unto me (& mine)!"
