Now on to my discovery this week. I love salads and like to include this or that to see if it adds something to my salad. My latest experiment has been - Raw Turnips.
Have you ever tried raw turnips? They're crunchy, crispy and zesty. Who knew?
A few "Turnip" tips I picked up this week...when buying turnips, the smaller the better. Turnips last up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. If you decide to cook them, adding a potato to the pot takes the bitter taste out.
Thanks for visiting ~ Reia
PS - for more information on the movie, visit "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead". It was made in 2010 and is 97 minutes in length. (FYI - I watched it on Netflix.)

Last year I went into an organic kick and I feel so much better.
Adriana from http://www.adrianairis.com/ - I've wondered if organic could make a difference. Nice to hear it did for you. Reia
I always see this on Netflix recommendations, I have to watch it - it reminds me of Jamie Oliver food revolution! And turnips - will have to look for them at Whole Foods looks like an interesting veggie (never had it before! haha).
Miranda M from http://www.prettysquared.com/ - I grew up with turnips (cooked) with greens but never raw and what a difference NOT cooking them makes. I look forward to hearing what you think.
I don't think I've heard of Jamie Oliver's food revolution - thanks for the new name. Now I have someone new to check out.
Thanks also for your comment and keep up the great work on your blog! Reia
